Zeit für was neues. Nachdem ich neulich einige bereits in Arbeit befindliche Teile angeteasert hatte, gibts heute…. oh, was neues. Ja tatsächlich, die unfertigen Bilder sind nach wie vor unfertig, da ich zwischenzeitlich was anderes anfangen wollte. Ausnahmsweise hab ich das Teil von Grund auf in Inkscape und ohne vorherige Skizze zusammen gebastelt. Und da es ohnehin keine Skizze gab, hab ich auch gleich das digitale Line-Work weg gelassen. Also heute zur Abwechslung mal nur Flächen und keine Outlines. Ansonsten gibts wie gewohnt große Farbflächen und Farbverläufe. Auf Texturen hab ich verzichtet, auf die prima Streifenmuster dagegen nicht. Ach ja, Juhuu für lustige Perspektive und Proportionen :P

Time for new material. After dropping that teaser of some in-progress pieces a while ago I can present today… oh, something new. Yeah that’s right, the unfinished pics are still unfinished because in the meantime I felt like starting with something new. For a change I made the whole thing entirely in Inkscape, without doing a traditionally drawn sketch first. And since there’s no sketch anyway, I decided to leave out the digital line-work as well. So there’s just filled shapes and no outlines this time. Apart from that it’s a mix of flat colors and gradients, as usual. Also I decided against textures, there are neat Inkscape-onboard patterns though. Oh yeah, Yay for funny perspective and proportions :P

Und hier noch eine alternative Version. Vor kurzem lief ein Wettbewerb der Inkscape-Community im Rahmen des nächsten großen Releases, v0.91. Eine passende Idee für den Contest hatte ich nicht, aber hier ist zumindest noch ein kleiner „inoffizieller“ Nachtrag :)
