Snowman 2

Eigentlich sollte das mein letztes Bild im alten Jahr werden. Durch Verzögerungen und meine allgemeine Langsamkeit hat das aber nicht mehr geklappt. Deshalb ist es jetzt also das erste Teil im neuen Jahr. Und damit wünsche ich allen Menschen ein frohes Neues! Bleibt gesund und lasst uns alle dafür sorgen, dass dieses Jahr besser wird als das vergangene… und benutzt Inkscape! :D

I wanted this to be the last piece of the old year. Due to some delays and my general slowness this didn’t work out though and thus it has become the first piece of the new year. And with that I wish everybody a happy new one! Be safe, be healthy and let’s all make sure this year gets a lot better than the last… and use Inkscape! :D

Und noch eine alte Skizze erledigt, passend zur aktuellen Wettersituation in meiner Region. Endlich ordentlich Winter, yay! :) Ist ein ziemlich simples Teil. Als ich quasi fertig war dachte ich, ich könnte noch versuchen, den kleinen Kerl in eine Glaskugel zu setzen. Das Ergebnis sah dann irgendwie ein wenig interessanter aus als ohne Kugel, also hab ich das beibehalten.

Here’s another old sketch that I can finally scratch off the list, and one that fits the current weather situation in my region. Finally winter, yay! :) It’s a pretty simple piece. I was quasi done when I thought I’d try to add that glass globe around the little fellow. I thought it looked a bit more interesting this way than it did without the globe and thus kept it.

Snowy Fluffy Fun

Die letzten 2, 3 Jahre haben wir hier nicht allzu viel Schnee zu Gesicht bekommen. Mal schauen wie dieser Winter ausfällt. Ich hab mir auf jeden Fall schon mal selbst was winterliches gebastelt d^__^b

The past 2, 3 years our region saw very little snow. I’m curious how this winter is going to be in this respect. Hopefully better. But snow or not, I felt like making something snowy myself d^__^b

Und zum Abschluss noch ein Überblick über die Entstehung in einigen wenigen Schritten. Wow, das dürfte das erste Mal sein, dass ich keine grüne (Wiese) oder graubraune (Felsen) Landschaft als Umgebung verbaut habe :D
