Endlich gibt es hier mal wieder neues Buntstiftmaterial, wenn auch nur recht simples. Einmal das hier… auch wenn ich immer noch nicht sagen kann, wofür der rote Knopf da vor mir an der Wand nun eigentlich gut sein soll. Weltherrschaft? Weltfrieden?? Selbstzerstörung??? Das gilt es noch herauszufinden.
Finally here’s some new pencil material, relatively simple stuff though. First, this one… although I still can’t say what the red button on the wall in front of me is actually doing. World domination? Instant peace on earth?? Self-destruction??? This has still to be clarified.
Nummer 2 ist, mal wieder, ein lustiges Knochengesicht. Ich habe irgendwie eine leichte Vorliebe für derartige Motive…
Number 2 is, once again, a funny bone face. I guess you could say I’ve got quite a fondness for such subjects…
Die Skizze hatte ich bei beiden zunächst geinkt, ganz im Gegensatz zu meinen sonstigen Buntstiftbildern. Da ich nach wie vor meinen „normalen“ Look, ohne klare schwarze Outlines, bevorzuge, wird das aber eher die Ausnahme bleiben. Das war der erste Einsatz meiner Multiliner seit über einem Jahr. Ging sogar erstaunlich locker von der Hand. Und auch bei der Buntstifthandhabung habe ich glücklicherweise trotz herber Vernachlässigung nicht alles verlernt :D
I inked both sketches before coloring them, as opposed to pretty much all of my other pencil drawings. I still prefer my standard style without clear black line-work but at least I think the black lines don’t kill anything either. This was the first time in over one year that I used my multiliners. Went pretty smoothly, considering that I’m everything but a pro inker. Also I’m glad to say that despite having neglected my pencils so badly during the past months I didn’t completely unlearn how to handle them :D
